Comment List Text and Icon
I am using Acrobat Reader DC to read articles while highlighting text and making notes (comments) along the way. For each comment I make, the text is neatly placed on the comment list for easy reference. However, for each highlight, an icon of a highlighter and the placeholder "Highlighted Text" is added to the comment list which only adds clutter to the bar and distances the substantive comments from one another. For my purposes, I find it counterintuitive to sift through useless "Highlighted Text" placeholders to locate the comments with substantive text.
In Preferences -> Commenting -> Making Comments, I see the option "Enable comment type text and icon in Comments List". This is unchecked, yet the highlighter icon and "Highlighted Text" still flood my comment list for each entry. If this is not the intended function of this option, then what effect does this option have exactly?
Alternatively, it would be nice to have an option where the highlighted text displays as an entry in the comment list verbatim rather than just the placeholder "Highlighted Text".
