comments disappeared? ! Help?!

Hi, I have a very unconvenient problem. I worked in an adobe document for about one month, using the comments to replace text passages. I registered it every time. Today I opened the document, I still can see the striked text passages in red and blue, but there are no comments left. I don't know what happened and would like to restore the comments. Can you help me?

    Please tell us what Adobe application you are using so this can be moved from the nontechnical Lounge Forum to the proper forum for help.
