Comments Disappearing

Hello,

 

Comments are displayed on the actual document, and within the comments bar.

However, after some time, the comments displayed on the actual document disappear, leaving only the comments shown in the bar at the side of the document.

 

How can I keep the comments displayed on the actual document? 

Stop them from disappearing after a period of time.

 

I have to re-open the document each time, to make the comments re-appear again.

Probably a setting or registry change needed?

Have you started experiencing this unusual behavior after installing the latest patch? 

Please confirm your Acrobat Reader version. Acrobat Reader>help>About Acrobat Reader

For a better understanding, please share the pdf file you are working with. We want to test the same at our end.

 

Meanwhile, log in on Document Cloud web and check if your document opens fine. https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/

    Thanks, version is 23.003.20215 I cant send a file as they are confidential. Is this version problematic?

      Thanks for confirming. 

      Acrobat and Reader official update  23.003.20244 is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates>reboot Acrobat.
