Connectivity issue - Pop up questioning whether I am connected to Internet

Tried to open an a 20 year old PDF. A pop up appeared questioning whether I am connected to the Internet since it cannot verify my subscription status. Shows a link to a connectivity guide which is non responsive. Now all my PDF files cannot be accessed for the same reason. Cannot figure out how to stop this pop up even though I am connected to the internet and can sign into my Adobe Account

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader.

 

Would you mind sharing a screenshot of the error that you see? Also, do you see any error code?

 

Please try updating the application to the latest version and then check if this works. Go to Help-> Check for updates.
