Continuous slideshow?

I have read the instructions about getting Adobe Reader to show a slideshow continuously by choosing "edit","preferences", "loop after last page".

However I cannot see the "preferences" option under "Edit". I am a Mac user and have exported a slideshow from Lightroom classic cc as a pdf, as I wish to share the slideshow with others.
