Conversion failure. FROM PDF to EXCEL. I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

I have been doing this for 8 months with no error except today.

If you are doing this in Reader, this means that you have a subscription to the ExportPDF service. In my experience, the interface built into Reader is not very reliable, and I always have a more reliable experience when I upload the file directly to Adobe's web service via https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf - just upload your file, and then download the result.
