Question

Converted files are not readable. Images are distorted.

When I convert a PDF file to a Word file it is distorted and unreadable.  I tried converting to RTF and Excel too just to see if it was just Word, but it is all of them.  I  need to be able to make notes on the items on the page but if they aren't readable I cannot.

    Hi Sarah,

Try disabling the "Recognize Text if Needed" checkbox in the settings window and see if the output works for you.

    To do so,

    1. Open the pdf

    2. Go to Tools->Export PDF -> Microsoft Word

    3. Click the settings icon beside Word Document

    4. Disable  "Recognize Text if Needed" box.

    5. Press Ok and then Export

Also, if you want to add comments/notes, you can do that using the Comment App in Acrobat.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks for your patience!

Did you get the file that I sent via email?  Are you able to shed any light on why this is distorting so?

The file link you shared seems to be broken, File Not Found error is getting displayed.

    Kindly share an updated link.

Meanwhile, can you check if it works fine on https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf  ?

    Regards,

    Poorvi
