Converting Microsoft Pubisher publication to a PDF

I use Microsoft Publisher primarily for creating newsletters and flyers for my personal use as a volunteer.  The older version of Publisher gave me the option of converting to a PDF from the drop down box in "save as".  It no longer does that.  When i downloaded this Acrobat Reader DC so that I could convert, it appears I have to pay a monthly fee in order to use this feature.  Is this correct?  If this is correct, is there another version of Acrobat that I can download where I don't have to pay a monthly fee.
