Converting pdf to word

When I convert pdf to word, the words are jumbled, letters and symbols are changed and so is the format.

What can I do to convert to word exactly?

Kindly update Reader to the latest version and share the version form Help > About Acrobat Reader Dc

Is this happening for a particular file? kindly share the file if that is the case.

Also try using the online service: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf and let us know if that works?
