Question

Converting PDF to Word

I just purchased the Adobe Export utility so that I could easily convert a PDF into Word. The conversion went fine, but now when I put my cursor over the endnote (the hovering technique) I cannot see the content of the endnote. The PDF was made from a WordPerfect document. Any suggestions? (When I covert from WordPerfect to Word I get all kinds of formatting problems, so I went from Word Perfect to PDF to Word.)

    Hi Philipb27751730,

As explained above, this seems to be a document specific problem.

Would you please help us with the screenshot of the endnote to understand it better? Like how it is visible and how its supposed to be.

For testing purpose would request you to try the conversion online once https://cloud.acrobat.com/ . And if it was done online then you may try it through the Adobe Reader DC desktop application.

    Let us know the updates.

    Regards,

Thanks for responding, but I don't think I made myself clear: let me try again. I use MS Word 2007. If I have a Word document open that includes end-notes, and I place my cursor over the end-note number, a small bubble appears with the content of the end-note in it, so that you can read the end-note without having to go to the end of the document to see it. This way you don't have to continually go back and forth from the text to the end-notes, which is especially problematic with large documents with many end-notes.

The Word document that resulted when I converted a PDF to Word does not have this feature. If I place my cursor over the number of an end-note, the bubble does not appear. Philip
