Correct software to edit PDF files in Windows 10

Our small business has some computers that use Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard to edit PDF files in the Windows Vista OS. We are planning to upgrade these computers, but still want to have the PDF editing capability on the new, Windows 10 Pro computers. My understanding is that Acrobat 9 Standard is not compatable with W10. If that is so, what software can be used for this purpose?
