Cover Sheet

I received a PDF with several pages.  On the cover sheet I can enter the information that I need and it will automatically be entered on the following pages.

I know this is linking of some kind but I don't know what to call it to look it up.  How do you do this and what is it called?

    This can be form text fields with the same name.

    So if I make them the same name - it will populate it wherever that name is?

    Thanks so much - I knew it was something simple but I just didn't know what.
