Question

Crash when PDF contains hyperlinks

Hi everybody,

We are facing an issue with Adobe Reader DC with some end users on a 2012R2 RDS Server. The issue is that when a PDF document is being opened and it contains one or more hyperlinks, Adobe Reader DC crashes. It crashes when the page is displayed on screen where the hyperlinks are, and after the Adobe Cloud services are loaded. We use Adobe Reader DC from the distribution center with a transform installation.

Things we tried/ruled out:

- Anti-virus

- Adobe Reader DC public available installation instead of the Distribution Center edition

- Administrative rights to the end user

- New profile

- Clean cache folders in AppData\Local

- Did a trace with ProcMon

All of the above didn't solve the problem. Is there anybody out there who is experiencing the same problems? Did you manage to solve it?

Any tips and feedback are more than welcome!
