Create fillable sales order with calculations

I've just created a sales order that calculates the total cost when you proceed through the document and choose quantity.

However, when I save the PDF from Adobe Acrobat everything looks nice and the calculations are correct. However, when I open the PDF in Mac's preview, the calculations (hidden text fields) are showing and no numbers are calculated upon entering information.

I've saved the PDF accordingly: Save As Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (Includes Form Fill-in & Save).

In short, is there any way to save the forms so it can be filled (with calculations) in Mac's preview? (Most of the users will only have built-in Mac and Windows software).

If not, do you have any other suitable solutions? We want our customers to see the offer (pdf) and be able to choose products and see the grand total right away, then send us the form.

Crossing my fingers...

Thanks in advance!

Short answer is no. Apple Preview is a buggy application that corrupts PDF forms, simply by opening them.

You need to instruct the users to only use Adobe Reader to open the file, never Preview.

For complaints about this application you should contact Apple. Adobe has nothing to do with it.
