Default PDF viewer keeps changing

No matter how I change the default pdf viewer over to Adobe I still get it reverted to Microsoft Edge.  It may take 5 minutes and it may take a week, but it will revert to Edge.  What needs done to stop this from happening?

      That is likely a Microsoft issue.

        I want Edge to by my default, but it keeps getting changed to Adobe.
