DejaVu Sans font

Though DejaVu Sans font is supposed to be part of the options in Adobe Acrobat, it is not. How can I add it so that I can correctly edit a form?

Thanks!

it should be easy, the way we install font to be able to see and use them in respective apps. Mac and Windows have different ways to install. Thanks.

"It should be easy." Yes, but apparently it's not, or at least I couldn't figure it out. This is WHY I asked the question, how do you add it??
