Delete automatic periods insertions

Acrobat Reader inserts periods after all my editorial corrections and comments. How can I delete this automatic function?

Where does you see the periods? Can you post a screenshot?

I don't know how to post a screenshot. The periods just appear in all the comment boxes after making a correction or making an editorial comment, so I have to go through the extra step of deleting the period every time.
