The warning you’re seeing usually appears when a PDF contains a font that is either corrupted, not embedded correctly, or not fully supported in Adobe Reader. Since the PDF was edited in Edge, it may have added the font in a way that Adobe Reader is flagging as problematic.

Here are a few things you can try:

1. Resave the PDF in Acrobat/Reader: 

Open the file in Acrobat (if available) and go to File > Save As Other > Optimized PDF or Reduced Size PDF. This often rebuilds the font data and removes errors.

2. Embed or Replace the Font

If you have Acrobat (not just Reader), you can go to Preflight (Tools > Print Production > Preflight) and check for font issues. There, you can embed or substitute fonts to fix the error.

3. Use Edge Before Opening in Reader

Open the file again in Edge or another PDF editor, remove the text/comments, and re-add them using Acrobat. This ensures fonts are handled properly.

The message itself is only a warning and does not harm your file. But the above steps should help remove it so it doesn’t keep showing every time you open the document.
