Different encodings of the DSS field render different outputs on LTV enablement

I have 2 signed PDF files, both with a DSS dictionary that contains the chain and revocation data but encoded in different ways. If the DSS contents use an indirect object, adobe fails to recognize it, if don't they fields show up correctly.
