Digital Signature Problem

I am unable to add an image to the Appearance for digital signatures. I get to the 'Import Graphic'/Select Picture screen but when I select my chosen image (png, gif, jpg, etc) It doesn't preview, it just closes the window. Several colleagues also have this problem using Reader DC. DC Pro on my PC works as expected. Adding a pdf works fine but I require transparency.

Using Windows 7 and Windows 10, Reader DC (2015.023.20070).

    You may refer to the Release notes for latest update-Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader and update your Acrobat Reader DC to the latest version.

    This might help you resolving this problem, and if it doesn't do let us know.

      Hi,

      I am experiencing the exact same issue with the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.  Is there any further information on the fix for this issues - upgrading to the latest version does not help me on this occasion.
