Disable signed documents saving over original file?

I created a form to be filled out and signed in-person with clients (they will sign using a topaz signature pad). When the form is filled and signed, I can save-as with just the client name, and then it's in my cloud for record keeping purposes. The problem is if I then close the form, it also saves over the original (blank) form. Is there a way to disable adobe auto-saving over the original form upon closing after a signature has been acquired?
