I understand that with using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, I should have certain functions at my disposal such as the "combine pdfs" function "organise pages" function and such other functions, correct?. I only have the very basic functions available. Is it possible to obtain access to such functions? This is not my personal laptop but my work laptop.

With PDF Pack, Acrobat Reader does not change. Yes, these functions are available online with PDF Pack. To use on your computer, a full Acrobat subscription, and install of Acrobat is needed.
