Doc opening when downloading imopssible

Hi there,

First of all, happy new year to everyone !

My problem : I recently changed my PC. Have now windows 11.

Since then, when I download a pdf file (for ex. : from my bank's website), it downloads well but it does not open automatically and gives me a message about the "storage strategy".

Please find, enclosed, a screenshot.

Note that the screenshot is in french 😊

Basically, it says that "there was an error while the document was opening due to the storage strategy. For more info, please contact your system administrator" (I'm the system admin 😒😁)

Hello,

I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.

Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 24.005.20421 Optional update, Feb 24, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and check. For more information, see this: https://adobe.ly/3F1FLPS.

If the issue persists, please use the Acrobat Cleaner tool to remove any corrupt application files, restart the machine and install Acrobat Reader.
