does "Choose paper source by PDF page size" work on MacOS?
Has anyone been able to make this work on a Mac? I'm using MacOS 12.5.1 and Acrobat Reader DC 2022.022.20191. I've selected "Choose paper source by PDF page size", and verified that Reader sees some pages coded as letter (8.5" x 11") and some as legal (8.5" x 14"), but it will not correctly print them when mixed. It either puts all the pages on letter or all on legal.
I thought maybe this has never worked, judging from what I've read in searches, but there was a thread last year (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/quot-choose-paper-source-by-pdf-page-size-quot-not-working/td-p/11819838) where an Adobe employee claimed it was working on Mac. This thread appears to be dead, with no responses to someone posting from last October, so I'm starting a new one and I'm interested in Mac only. It works on Windows. (It would be super bizarre if this didn't work on Mac and Adobe knew it, but for some reason they kept the nonfunctional option in the Mac version...)
I've tried removing and reinstalling the program, and messing with security settings, going so far as to disable enhanced security altogether. No luck.
I do see that the official Adobe help page for this (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/print-mixed-page-sizes-acrobat.html) offers a solution that is definitely not a solution at all, because it doesn't print mixed pages sizes at all, and instead just scales to fit (definitely not acceptable for legal documents...).
