Don't like this version; can I go back to a prior version?

I don't like much about the way Adobe Acrobat Reader DC works as compared to the previous versions that were on my computer. For instance, I don't like that I can't easily move a document to split screen or move it around as an independent window unattached to all other pdf docs.   I don't like that when I try to close out of a document by hitting "X" it doesn't just close the document I'm looking at - it puts up a prompt asking me whether I want to close all tabs or just the one I was looking at.  I can't keep one document open without it being connected to others that were opened.

Is there any way to go back to a previous version?  Or stop these unacceptable functions on the current version?

In the preferences of Acrobat Reader DC you can disable the document tabs.

Or, if you prefer: to close one document click the X on its tab. To view documents side by side, use Window > Tile. To make a tab into a window, drag the tab out of the window.
