Double sided printing without cover page

Every time I print a document double-sided, it automatically assumes that page 1 is a Cover page and it is printed on its own without any verso printing, the rest of the document is printed double-sided. How can I avoid this please? Thank you!

Correct answer Bernd Alheit

What happens when you add a empty page at the end of the document?

Thank you! You have found it! In fact, I now realise that this happens only when I have an odd number of pages. So adding a blank page at the end makes it an even number of pages so pages 1 and 2 now print double-sided. Thank you again!!

Is the cover page option selected under File - Properties - Initial View? If so, try selecting a different one, then save the file, re-open it and print it again.

Under File - Properties - Initial View I do not have anything called Cover Page Option. This is a screenshot of what I have.

It's under Page Layout, but I see from the screenshot it's not selected, so that's not it...
