Download error keeps popping up

Please, I need some help. I bought this book "Saunders Comprehensive Review on  google play and could not down it because the following error keeps popping up each time I try to download it on my laptop:  'saunders_comprehensive_for_the_NC-pdf(9).acsm' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment ans wasn't correctly decorded).

    Read the description closely. I think you need different software.

    Looks to me like that is not a "true" PDF file, since it ends in .acsm

    I think you need to ask Google

    Unfortunately, I have spent hours with some guys at Google technical team but they could not figure out the problem. One of them even told me to contact Adobe technical. It's very frustrating.
