Download issue

I am trying to download Acrobat Reader but after each installation I get the notice that the api-ms-win-crt-runtime-I1-1-0.dll is missing from the computer. It suggests reinstalling this to fix the problem but no matter how many times I try, even with a direct download it gives the same result
