Drawing tools in DC Pro acting clunky

I am using Acrobat Pro DC. The drawing tools have become...spastic, clunky, inaccurate...just a few to try a describe. It wasn't that way when first installed on my machine. I am using Windows 7 Enterprise SP 1. It's a 64 bit machine with 16 GB of ram, if that makes any difference. To try and further clarify, if I go to draw a line, the cross hair cursor draws the line, but I have no control over the exact length or direction of an angle, that the line might be on. Also, once I release the mouse button at the end of drawing the line, the line will then appear above, below, or anywhere other than where I want it to be.  Same for any of the other shapes, arrow, oval, etc.  I have no control over fine movements and it is extremely annoying. Once a shape has been drawn, if you try to move or edit the line, oval, etc., it still will not give you any more level of control. I hope that I explained it clear enough to make sense. I would love these features to work the way they are supposed to. I'm really hoping the answer isn't re-install it.

Thanks,

KenK
