How do you make a dropdown box that displays the text "select one option". When the user clicks the arrow then it sees the options.

i.e. the text inside the dropdown box should say "select one option".

With Adobe Reader you can't create forms just fill them. You'll have to use Acrobat or AEM Forms Designer (formerly LiveCycle Designer).
