Dual Monitor

Question

I run dual monitors. Everytime I open Acrobat Reader, it opens on my primary monitor. I move it to the secondary monitor. Then, if I close and reopen Acrobat, it opens again on the primary. I would like it to only open and stay on the secondary monitor.

I have tried to minimize and maximize Acrobat.

Nothing seems to work. Frustrating.

Can anyone help?

Think this is a Windows problem and not Adobe. Does it do the same with other programs? ... know e.g. with Office programs? If not, here is some information. Display configuration reverts to "Second screen only" after you resume from standby

Symptoms

On a Windows 10 or Windows 8-based laptop computer, you do the following:

Plug in an external monitor.
Change the display configuration to Second screen only (using the Windows logo key

+P keyboard shortcut).
Change the display configuration to Duplicate (using the Windows logo key

+P keyboard shortcut again).
Close the lid on the laptop computer.
Unplug the external monitor.
Open the lid on the computer.
Plug the external monitor back in.

In this scenario, the display configuration may revert to Second Screen only instead of remaining in Duplicate mode.

Cause

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

Workaround

To work around this problem, use the Windows logo key

+P keyboard shortcut to change the display configuration back to Duplicate mode.
