I can use other tools, Fill and Sign, Adobe Sign, but if I select Edit, it says you're using Adobe Free Acrobat, you need Distiller subscription...

I'm logged in, and using my Distiller subscription - I tried to download new Distiller and when downloading it says it finds a higher order program installed and the download install cancels itself out.

This is a new issue after upgrading MacOS to Mojave...

    Correct answer Test Screen Name

Then there is your problem. You are running the free Acrobat Reader and it cannot edit. It can only tell you that you need Acrobat.

So you do need to install Acrobat Pro, and use it instead of Reader.

You may already have Acrobat Pro. Distiller is a part of it but you can ignore that. The app you need to run is Acrobat, not Distiller.

Well I tried that before and it scrubbed the install saying a higher version was already installed - just did another install and it shows Pro - so it fixed itself somehow. Like I said in OP - this happened after I upgraded iOS to Mojave, prior to that all was right in my Adobe world.

    Thanks....

Please check the name of the application you actually run. (Not what you pay for, but what shows up on screen). Is it Acrobat Reader, Acrobat Pro or something else?

When I highlight the icon in the Doc shows Acrobat Reader DC, go to the top left and it says Acrobat Reader, and when highlighted and drop-down menu shows About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I can select Preferences and it goes to my account settings and shows my subscription.

I also have the Distiller icon in the Doc...I can use some of the subscription features, just not Edit -
