I have a PDF document in which I would like to delete certain content and replace it with different content.  I have tried Edit PDF and it isn't working for me.  Please help!

One reason is that the PDF is locked for editing. Another is that what looks like text is actually an image. There could be other reasons.

Since you have the trial version, create a document in Word or Notepad or anything, and make a PDF. Does it work to edit that? If yes, the issue is with the document.

What happens when you try it?

Hi Bernd.  It just doesn't allow me to delete text.  I don't understand.  I am doing the trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  I have a document that I saved in Adobe Acrobat a few weeks ago.  I opened it up and I want to make two small changes to the content.  I chose Edit PDF and it will do all kinds of weird things that I don't want or need, but it won't let me perform the simple task of deleting a few words and typing in a few new words.

    Can you select the words?
