Edits sometimes don't show up and later randomly reappear

Question

Please somebody help me.

In my office we use Adobe Reader to leave notes in pdf files for our coworkers or correct errors for example.

For this we use things like the text function, sometimes drawings, arrows, etc.

Sometimes (maybe one out of ten times) NONE of the markings show up upon opening a pdf that has already been edited and saved. This can happen on any of our PCs, regardless of which PC has edited the file and regardless of how much time has passed.

It is often "fixable" by closing Reader about three times and scrolling around a bit in between, then the markings suddenly reappear WHILE scrolling around.

This is a HUGE problem because when a pdf is sent to somebody for review and then the entire review is missing, mistakes are bound to happen. Please help, if I can't find a solution, it's really bad. How can I fix the problem? Thank you in advance.
