EMAILING FILLED FORMS

I have created a fill-in form with Acrobat Pro DC.  I then did the Distribute form option.  When I test it on my PC, I am able to fill it out and send it back using Outlook.  It generates the response file just like it's supposed to.

However, when I send it to another computer for testing (With the latest DC Reader), once I click the submit button, it looks like its working, asks for a from email address and says it is submitting, etc.  When I check the email client (I've tried both web based email and Thunderbird), there is nothing in the drafts, outbox or sent folders and nothing is received back to the main computer.  The support team at Acrobat Pro DC literally kicked me under the bus when they found it was working with DC Pro, but not the Reader...I can't ask all of my clients to purchase DC Pro just to fill out forms.  What am I missing here?   BTW...Thanks for your willingness to help!
