Hello
Subject:
Adobe Acrobat Reader, Continuous Release, 2023.0008.20555 64-bit
Problem description:
As soon as I open the fullscreen_dummy.pdf I get a black screen..
The PDF is not displayed, everything is black.
It is also not possible to exit fullscreen mode with ESC, mouse buttons do not work. Exit only possible with ALT+F4 or task manager
Reproduce the problem:
- Use the old Adobe Reader Desing -> "Disable New Acrobat"
- Start Adobe Reader -> Settings -> Full screen
"Warn when a document is automatically displayed in full screen...." = OFF
The problem only appears if this option is deactivated! - Close Adobe Reader
- Make sure that Adobe Reader is set as the default viewer for PDF.
- Open fullscreen_dummy.pdf (double-click)
- Adobe Reader is started in full screen and I get a completely black screen.
Notes:
- The problem does not occur with Adobe Reader Pro.
- If I start Adobe Reader first and open the document via "Open file", the problem does not occur.
- With the new Adobe Reader Design, the PDF is displayed to me, has artifacts of the side menu, ESC keys and mouse buttons do not work. Exit with Alt+F4 or task manager.
Can anyone test this?
Does anyone else have this problem?
Regards Patrick
