Embedded Scale Ratio and Precision

I hope you are doing well. As per the above description, I understand that you want to change the tool from Perimeter to Distance; is that correct?

If yes, you just need to change the tool selection on the measuring tool floating bar. Please check the image for reference;

If the first icon from the left is selected on the measurement types ( Distance Tool), you will see the distance tool dialog, and thus, it changes with the selection.
