Enable All Features

I am using Adobe Reader. I work with the Navy approving Privileged Agreement and Acknowledgement (PAA) and System Authorization Access Request - Navy (SAAR-N) forms. The forms are received in protect mode. I have to select the "Enable All Features" button to validate the signatures. When I select the EAF, I am able to edit the document. This does not happen with all documents. I am sure someone else has had this issue before. What is the fix? This issue causes a work stoppage because I cannot process the document if it's editable.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader.

 

Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the properties of the PDF you are unable to edit to check if they have editing allowed. 

Also, sharing a sample PDF with us to try and reproduce the issue at our end.
