Enable PDF Thumbnail previews becomes unchecked

Recently I pushed out Adobe Reader DC 15.023.20070 using SCCM (yes, I do have an Adobe Reader Distribution License Agreement) to a large number of computers. The option for 'Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer' was left unchecked in the transform file I created using the Adobe Customization Wizard DC but as expected some users wanted this option selected so they were shown how to make this change. However, I have several computers where the setting is reverting back after it has been checked. It appears to be occurring after a reboot. I've reinstalled and it still occurs. I have not been able to recreate this issue on any of my test machines so not certain why this is occurring or what needs done to get the setting to stay selected.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas what might be the issue? This is on a Windows 10 version 1611 64 bit PC.
