I keep getting error 1635, I have tried to uninstall the program via control panel and it won’t allow me. I have tried to uninstall from adobe creative cloud, but it also does not work it loads 1% then stops. I can open adobe acrobat, but cannot save or make changes. It opens a blank dialog box and does nothing. Neither of the two options worked I just get the error “This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vender to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package.”

    Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out. We are sorry for the trouble.

Windows Installer Error 1635 occurs when a patch (.msp) file is corrupted, blocked by system permissions, or cannot be accessed by the Windows Installer service. Try to remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://adobe.ly/3Q8QWw3, reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://adobe.ly/4eBzyZ3 and see if that works.
