Hello, I have the Adobe Acrobar Reader DC, and It doesn't work, every time i try to opne a pdf, it opens, then it freezes, and a message pop out saying that Adobe is damaged. Then I tried to unistall the program, but another message pop out saying that the files aren't found so it is not possible to unistall, then I try to re-install, but it says that I have already an adobe reader program. Even I tried to install an old version one, but a new message appears saying that I already have a new version. Then I try to update it, but error 1646 appears, and I don't know what does it mean. I have searched in the adobe website, and it doesn't appear so I don't know.

I tried this solution: Update to Acrobat 9.4.2 failed Error code 1646  but it didn't work, perhaps I did it wrong.

Hi Estem,

Thanks for sharing the details.

When you uninstall the application through the control panel, it just removes/delete the application from your computer.

Use the Adobe Reader Cleaner tool to uninstall the application and its old traces-  Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

And re-download it through- Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions

Let us know if that helps.
