Error 2147500037 - Cannot Print PDFs, Print Job disappears.

We are having an issue in a where we are unable to print PDFs to a printer that is shared on a print server running Server 2016. When a user goes to print, either on a windows 7 or windows 10 workstation, the print job just disappears never going into the print queue for the printer on the windows server. There is a windows event log (event ID 372) with the opcode: Spooler Operation Failed.

We have uninstalled and reinstalled reader and acrobat and it still happens on both. We have uninstalled and reisntalled the printers. It is not working on any of the Kyocera Printers we have. We are able to print literally everything else and we can print PDFs through chrome, firefox and edge. The error only happens when we print a pdf through either adobe reader (version 17.012.20098) or acrabat pro (2015.006-30355).
