Error code 0x8007007e

I keep getting this message and error code when trying to print.  I took my computer in to a repair service and they said it was an Adobe problem.  It has now happened agian.  Here is the message and code.

 

0x8007007e  Your printer has experienced configuratiobn problems

 

What do I need to do to fix this problem for good?

This is a Windows error code related to the Windows Update service. I don't see a realation to Adobe in this case.
