error in adobe reader for arabic font appears in windows 7 and vista, however not appears on windows

hi

error in adobe reader 9 for arabic font which appears in windows 7 and vista, however not appears on windows xp,

i got this message " cannot find or create the font 'Arabic transparent -bold'.some characters may not display or print correctly" just in windows 7 and vista even after i install the fonts arabic transparent- bold. but in windows xp every thing is good.

need a help

    Hi,

    I face this problem and I found the solution for this

    1- download "arabic transparent bold" font

    2- copy the "arabic transparent bold" font to folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 10.0\Resource\Font

    3-run the pdf file and you will see font work great

    I will describe the problem in Arabic please

    Sorry, I have no more ideas about this - I don't know why it behaves that way.

    Do you know the author of this document?  If so, was it created with Acrobat?  If so, have them contact Adobe Support.

    please it is really important that i have answer for my problem, i have over than 250 documents with no original files so there are no option to recreate them again

    need a support from u ASAP

    I don't know why it works on one system, and not on another.  Have you tried installing the latest Adobe Reader 9.3.2?

    yes i have the latest version, however I notes somthing in document properties see the following :

    when i open document in xp this is the properties

    and when i open it in windows 7, i got this:

    note that arabic transparent-bold, actual font type :Unkown??!!!! why ?

    Is that a Windows font that you installed?  You need to install the Adobe Reader extended font pack from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=3974

    I have  installed  what u recommand , I  still have the problem.

    why the problem does not appear in windows xp?? i think the solution starts from this question!!
