error message "download initialization error" occurs when I try open the installer for Reader DC. This happens with Internet Explorer, Edge, Firefox browsers. My OS is Windows 10, newest version, which I had to completely install a few days ago.

Please try downloading the installer from this link: https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

Check if that works.
