On your page

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions

There is a pulldown menu with os selections.

Microsoft Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, all listed.

Missing is Windows Vista.

I have a Reader update nag on firefox on vista, but it's just not on the list.

XP is on the list, mac, even android. But Vista, missing.

You should fix that.

While Vista is not supported, as was mentioned, you can get past installers of Reader here: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/

    Oh, I realize that.

Ya know, virtually every website in the world has some way to contact someone.

    Not adobe.com.

This was a last gasp at getting the Adobe company to wake up and pay attention.

There are significant benefits to having users of your products tell you about problems, free, out of the goodness of their heart.

Adobe has never felt that way.

Which attitude may well explain why a page that says "all versions" is incomplete, and they have no mechanism to find that out.

And why their buggy software never really gets fixed. They only pay attention to telemetry.

I realize this keeps the phones from ringing over there.

But again, there are big benefits to paying attention.

Not at Adobe. They never did.

As to that form, that's not for websites. This is a website issue.

The website folks are just following orders. It's not a "bug" on the website if they choose to not make something available. It's a version support issue. You want a version they don't support.

And, I agree, it's not a "bug". You mentioned that you thought you thought you were filing a bug report. I was just pointing you in the right direction...

    Yeah, right. Silly.
I sense you don't actually develop Adobe's website.

So why are you answering this bug report for their web developers?

Not that I expect Adobe Corporation to fix anything. They mostly never do fix anything.

Flash crashing the Firefox plugin container 50 million times a day worldwide.

You haven't made a bug report. That isn't the purpose of these forums and the developers do not come in here. If you officially want to report a bug, go here: Feature Request/Bug Report Form

Although that will probably, no, most definitely get you nowhere since support and development for Vista is history. You can give it a shot though.

No, it's your problem. Yes, Adobe supported XP for much longer. They dropped Vista support years ago. Not supporting a system you happen to use isn't a bug, it's a wish...

The error, I should say, is Firefox telling you to update when there is no update. If you want to be secure give up Vista.

XP is all perfect, but Vista is not?  C'mon now.

    The is an Adobe problem.

    It is not a error.
