I have problems with adobe reader has the facility (79%) of reader he said "the file acrosup64.dll is not marked for installation 'I have a windows 8.1

    This is what worked for me

    1. Make sure Adobe is uninstalled from Control Panel Add Remove Programs
    2. navigate to "C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData" and delete the Adobe folder from the Local, LocalLow, and Romaing Folders
    3. Restart the computer
    4. Extract the offline installer .exe using something like 7zip
    5. Using the extracted files manually run the AcroRead.msi
    6. Using the extracted files manually run the .msp file to install the update

    If you have a management solution liks SCCM you can create a task sequence to run all of these steps.
