Error upgrading to version 19.012.20040

Question

When upgrading from Version 2019.012.20036 to version 19.012.20040 to fix the error “Cannot extract embedded font. Some characters may not display or print correctly” I get the Error "the upgrade patch cannot be installed by the windows installer service..." I have tried manaually installing from:  https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/continuous/dccontinuousaugust2019qfe.html and reinstalling but the download link for adobe reader has not updated past v .20036.https://get.adobe.com/reader/ Is there a downalod for version 19.012.20040 or a solution for the error "the upgrade patch cannot be installed by the windows installer service..."? Thanks for reaching out. As described above, you are getting error upgrading to version 19.012.20040, correct?

Please install all the necessary and optional updates for Windows, restart the computer and try updating the Adobe Acrobat/Reader and check.

If the problem still persists, please try the following steps:

Remove the application using the Adobe Acrobat Cleaner Tool - https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
Restart the computer
Install the application using the link - https://get.adobe.com/reader/
