Error when exporting PDF to Microsoft Word

Adobe Error when Export PDF to Microsoft Word
When attempting to export PDFs to MS Word, I receive the following error:
Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open "A9kfaan3_1b7tki2_sg8.tmp" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

If I hit "ok", then it will convert it.

Furthermore, when I had previously (before renewing my subscription to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader) performed the same process with the same file, I never received any type of error.
