Hi Nisar,

Sorry for the delay in response.

I hope you have got a solution to this problem already.

This issue usually occurs due to Microsoft Visual C++ runtime: You may try the suggestions from this help page: Application unable to Start correctly 0xc0000022 || 0x00000022

Let us know if that helps. Feel free to update this discussion with your findings that will help others.

Nisar,

I haven't found a file rdrcef.exe on my system. So there are at least a few questions to guide further investigation:

  • What version of FrameMaker are you running?
  • What is your Windows version?
  • What type of file (local, from entwork) do you try to open?

It seems that You try to open a pdf file with Acrobat Reader.

I have not installed Reader (and am not a friend of cloud solutions), but the full Acrobat and hence can not test that situation.

https://www.file.net/process/rdrcef.exe.html  tells me this:RdrCEF stands for Adobe Reader Cloud Extention Feature.

Hence you may ask Your question at Acrobat Reader
